摘要: OBJECTIVE With the widespread application of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), incidence invasive fungal infections increased significantly than ever. The present study aimed to explore clinical significance oral fluconazole premature infants with gestational age ≤ 32 weeks and/or birth weight 1500 grams who had catheter insertions. METHOD This enrolled 118 admitted between January 2006 and December 2007 did not receive prophylaxis (control group) 106 2008 June 2009 received (prophylaxis group). Statistical analyses were performed by using SPSS 11.5 software. characteristics risk factors for infection two groups compared. Liver functions (alanine transaminase, ALT direct bilirubin) monitored evaluate safety prophylaxis. RESULT Except proportion born via vaginal delivery control group (56/118, 47.5%) was lower that (69/106, 65.1%, P = 0.007), there no significant differences demographics other baseline groups. There either. Nine developed (7.6%), while found (0%, 0.01). Compared group, those showed changes alanine transaminase bilirubin levels at 2 4 after prophylaxis: incidences abnormal 8.5% (10/118) 6.8% (8/118) compared 11.3% (12/106) (9/106) (P 0.47 0.63); 3.4% (4/118) 5.7% (6/106) 0.62 0.15). CONCLUSION For PICC insertions ages low grams, is effective prevent infection. Oral neither affected liver function, nor cholestasis.
