摘要: A study of sensory cells and nerve fibers in man at various ages shows that there is an age-related progressive reduction the number both over age 40 years. The most pronounced ampullary crests where it may reach 40%. In maculae 20%. Bergstrom has shown not only a quantitative one but also become thinner old age. Also described are intraepithelial modifications epithelia large amounts age-induced lipofuscin granules lysosomes other appear.
