摘要: We screened 46 ophthalmology journals to identify the most frequently cited articles using Science Citation Index Expanded (1975 2006). The 100 most-cited were published in 13 journals, Archives of Ophthalmology (n=30), followed by (n=27) and American Journal (n=11), originated from 10 countries, led United States (n=86). topics covered these classic included epidemiology age-related macular degeneration glaucoma, description new diseases including cytomegalovirus retinitis, optical coherence tomography, hypotensive medications laser photocoagulation treat diabetic retinopathy subfoveal choroidal neovascularization, photorefractive surgery, vitrectomy idiopathic hole. provide a historical perspective scientific advancement duringthelast3decades.
