摘要: Methods and problems of predicting oxide solubilities in supercritical water are reviewed. Alumina-water is the example system investigated. A method statistical analysis for developing semi-empirical correlations such described. Predictions use Cochran, Lee, Pfund formulation Kirkwood-Buff solution theory with an added pH term to represent additional molecular interactions. Results highly accurate alumina-water over a large range temperatures pressures. Only eight data points may be used determine fitted constants these predictions, provided those chosen appropriate range.
