摘要: This chapter presents a new analysis for the pixel-by-pixel quantification of regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) with positron emission tomography and H 2 15 O. It involves reference region approach based on simultaneous regions different flows algebraic elimination arterial input function term. The method, therefore, requires no sampling. Simulation studies were carried out to evaluate method. rCBF images 17 subjects are calculated by present method dynamic-integral comparisons two methods also performed. CBF correlated those obtained principal problem is instability solution, which necessitates introduction penalty in fitting procedure. Despite this shortcoming, may prove useful adjunct protocols, such as often used activation that do not routinely involve
