摘要: This study reports on the synthesis of an adsorbent for preconcentration heavy metals at trace levels in environmental samples. Amberlite XAD resins are excellent support materials because their high surface area and good mechanical stability. Ethylenediamine was chemically anchored resin to create active sites metal adsorption. It then employed adsorption lead, copper cadmium ions aqueous solution. Contact time flow rate pH were optimized after which Langmuir Freundlich isotherms applied experimental data establish mechanism The sorption capacity three under (Cu2+, Cd2+ Pb2+) 61.49, 16.17 14.01 mg g−1, respectively. observed that adsorbed 95% less than 10 min indicating affinity analyte took place instantly. developed method water sample whose concentration determined thereafter spiked with Cd2+, Cu2+ Pb2+ varying concentrations. maximum percent recoveries as 28, 98 90% Pb2+, indicated has a potential application tool analysis
