摘要: A series of complex physiological processes underlie the development microbiota, gut, and brain in early life, which together communicate via microbiota-gut-brain axis to maintain health homeostasis. Disruption these can lead dysbiosis pathophysiology gut behavioral deficits including depression, anxiety cognitive deficits. Environmental exposures, particularly interfere with impact pathways. This review will focus on role microbiome neurodevelopment neurodegeneration as well impacts environmental neurotoxicant polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), given that serves primary exposure route. There exists extensive research importance developing connections autism spectrum disorder (ASD) increasing links being established between Alzheimer's disease (AD) elderly. Finally, we speculate mechanisms through PCBs induce dysregulate physiology brain.
