The barriers to nurturing and empowering long-term care experiments - Lessons learnt to advance future healthcare projects

摘要: The objective of this study is to explore the barriers nurturing and empowering subsidized long-term care experiments that try deal with today's challenges such as an aging population increasing healthcare costs. Nurturing process planning, implementing, learning from experiments. empowerment deals stabilizing into existing system. This a qualitative network nurtured tried empower three experiments, which were by ministerial transition program (2009–2011) in Netherlands. In total, 14 open-ended, semi-structured interviews conducted. Further data collected through participation, collecting documents, pursuing focus group. findings revealed eight During planning top managers consultants (1) lacking time, (2) ignored local context, (3) did neither engage project nor professionals. At start experimentation, professionals (4) motivation, (5) (6) support while there was (7) no sense urgency experiment. Finally, (8) commitment during conclusion, future projects have avoid these barriers. Otherwise, money, energy are lost overcoming barriers, needed challenges.
