摘要: A Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network is described in which session state maintained access switches, but not signaling gateways maintain transaction only during pendency of a related transaction. The gateway further provides transparent inter-operation between the VoIP and non-IP networks, such as PSTN, by means translator directly translates messages networks.
