摘要: The aim of this study is to examine the determinants fruit and vegetable (F&V) consumption with application Theory Planned Behaviour (TPB) additional variables self-schema, habit self-regulation. While it has been shown that those a healthy-eater self-schema are more likely carry out their healthy dietary intentions, underlying processes influence relationship have received limited empirical attention. Recent findings on behaviour suggest self-regulatory ability strength may dissimilar effects intention-behaviour within schematics non-schematics. Self-report questionnaires regarding F&V cognitions two tests self-regulation were administered 209 university students. One week later, participants completed behaviour. TPB significantly predicted intentions prospective Self-schema did not moderate between intention However, schematics, high consume F&V, while non-schematics, low F&V. support use in predicting validity distinction. Implications for designing interventions discussed.
