摘要: The aim of this study was to examine tissue from patients with breast carcinoma or benign disease for the presence monoclonal-antibody-defined antigens, including MUC1 mucin and carcinoembryonic antigen CEA. tests were performed by sodium dodecyl sulphate/polyacrylamide gel electrophoretic separation proteins, transfer nitrocellulose membranes immunostaining monoclonal antibodies. Some antigens identified are known circulate at high levels in some but not necessarily all, patients. Serum a panel ten cancer subjected fractionation procedure designed release immune complexes, again these smaples analysed antigens. A frequency positive reactions detected anti-MUC1 antibody C595 both subcellular membrane fractions as well eluted circulating complexes. No observed equivalent materials samples. findings illustrate variability expression between tumours. data also indicate that proportion respond their tumour production antibodies recognise circulation.
