摘要: Abstract A cross-sectional serological survey for Neospora caninum was carried out on beef and dairy cattle in southern northern Italy. total of 111 herds 1140 animals were tested using an ELISA assay (CHEKIT®-Neospora) to detect anti-N. antibodies. Management individual data collected analysed both by linear logistic multiple-regression models order find good predictors the seroprevalence antibody level. At least one seropositive animal found 49 (44.1%), which 31 (39.7%) from Italy 18 (54.5%) 126 head (11%) be lower (8.7%) than (16%). One best neosporosis this study practice self-rearing replacement heifers. Further risk factors linked higher stocking density, i.e. farmed large with no summer or permanent grazing practices more likely others. Farms two dogs had herd seropositivity farms factor interacted significantly farm size presence poultry. Among characteristics, sampled mid- late-pregnancy compared either early pregnancy not pregnant. There a significant interaction between status practices. None epidemiological recorded predictor
