摘要: The existence and the regulatory mechanisms of Pasteur effect in facultative anaerobic metazoa are discussed. There three reasons for controversy surrounding this phenomenon.1) different definitions effect,2) antagonistic metabolic depression its species specific response to hypoxia, as well as3) laboratory-specific differences experimental procedures analyzing regulation. This review aims clarify confusion about offer possible molecular mechanisms.
