摘要: Marine nematodes of the genus Anisakis are common parasites a wide range aquatic organisms. Public interest is primarily based on their importance as zoonotic agents human Anisakiasis, severe infection gastro-intestinal tract result consuming live larvae in insufficiently cooked fish dishes. The diverse nature external impacts unequally influencing larval and adult stages marine endohelminth requires consideration both abiotic biotic factors. Whereas factors generally more relevant for early life might also be linked to intermediate hosts, definitive hosts indispensable parasite’s reproduction. In order better understand uneven occurrence species, we here use maximum entropy approach (Maxent) model habitat suitability nine species accounting parameters well data (definitive hosts). modelled reflects observed distribution quite all however, some cases, exceeded known geographical distribution, suggesting wider than presently recorded. We suggest that integrative modelling combining valid assessments Anisakis, potentially other parasite species.
