摘要: The performance of maize, beans and sunflower was evaluated under a canopy Populus deltoides Ulmus wallichiana at Faculty Agriculture, Wadura. germination, growth yield the three test crops were suppressed both tree species. reduction, however, decreased when cultivation continued for years. inhibition potential generally is in order P. U. beans. Available soil N, P K increased selected soils more fertile than those deltoides. Chromatographic investigation extracts showed that differed their composition phenolic acids glycocides. Except caffic acid, all other allelochemicals disappeared no longer recovered samples obtained after second or third year cultivation. Tree-crop compatibility can be explored greater detail improved management traditional agro-ecosystems Kashmir to increase overall productivity land.
