摘要: System Level Description Languages (SLDL) emerged a decade ago for high-level System-on-Chip (SoC) design and efficient space exploration. Initially performance area constraints were the major concerns. Nowadays shrinking of transistor size has brought power temperature to top list designer Although SLDLs are welldefined functional timing modeling, dimension power- temperature-aware modeling is missing needs be added manually by user in an ad-hoc fashion. In this paper we introduce; PowerMonitor as Application Programming Interface (API) capable (a) annotation executable model, (b) power-aware simulation, (c) monitoring graphically representing dissipation at system level with flexible granularity compositions.
