摘要: A compact stationary arc jet plasma generator was constructed for fundamental research. The plasmas were produced with two shapes of anode nozzle having different diverging angle. Characterization parameters in the expanding helium performed using a high resolution visible spectrometer. density and its temperature around exit evaluated by analysis spectral intensity profile. In addition, it found that large angle provided favorable condition to generate strong non-equilibrium recombining plasma. On other hand, expansion dynamics from also examined shadow graph method.
