摘要: The fracture behavior of PZT specimens driven at their resonant frequency by the application an ac voltage was investigated and compared with monotonically loaded PZT. Microcracking observed in cyclically specimens; above 150°C, micro-cracks were dispersed small clusters, while T≤ 86°C, microcracks generated a densely populated region near failure site (indentation). Macrocrack growth also demonstrated temperature dependence, crack occurring T > 150°C but not 86°C.
