摘要: Linear functions of Nei's genetic-distance statistic are calculated frequently in the literature population genetics. Variance estimates for these linear either not presented or incorrectly calculated. Part problem stems from common assumption that distance statistics independent random variables. This is generally correct. We describe methods estimating variance combinations statistics. also suggest a method constructing confidence intervals on when values small (
