摘要: Today's voltage regulator (VR) for the microprocessor requires a current loop to achieve adaptive positioning and phase sharing. A fundamental limitation, sample hold effect, limits control bandwidth be pushed beyond 1/6 of switching frequency. This paper reveals limitation two-phase buck converter using peak scheme. The can overcome by coupling two output inductors. new small signal model is proposed study effect in coupled-inductor implementations. relationship between coefficient then discussed. Based on these understandings, strongly coupled has double noncoupled VR; this experimentally verified
