摘要: This paper focuses on the characterization of chemical compositions and acidic constants extracellular polymeric substances (EPSs) in an anaerobic membrane bioreactor treating synthetic brewery wastewater by using analysis, linear programming analysis (LPA) titration data, FT-IR analysis. The data revealed that EPSs have proton binding sites with pKa values from pKa ≤ 6, between 6 7, approximately 9.8. strong (pKa ≤ 6) some weak (7.5 < pKa < 9.0) were found to be readily removed 0.45-μm filtration. In addition, confirmed presence proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acids, lipids EPS samples. Based main functional groups at bacterial cell surfaces, identified related carboxyl, phosphate, hydroxyl/amine 4.6 ± 0.7, 6.6 ± 0.01, 9.7 ± 0.1, respectively, corresponding respective intensities 0.31 ± 0.05, 0.96 ± 0.3, 1.53 ± 0.3 mmole/g-EPS. are fundamental molecular properties affect charge, interactions, metal complexation characteristics. Determination such can advance Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek (DLVO)-based concentration polarization modeling, facilitate estimation osmotic pressure layers, lead a deeper understanding role fouling.
