摘要: Troponin T is a unique cardiac antigen which continuously released from infarcting myocardium. Its cardiospecificity as marker protein might be particularly useful in assessing myocardial cell damage patients undergoing surgery. Therefore, circulating troponin was measured serial blood samples 56 surgery and two control groups--22 minor orthopaedic 12 lung by median sternotomy. In both groups no could detected, whereas activities of creatine kinase were raised all controls the MB isoenzyme five group four 22 group, respectively. All coronary artery bypass grafting (n = 47) for other reasons 9) had detectable concentrations T. Five perioperative infarction detected new Q waves R wave reductions. these release persisted serum (5.5-23 micrograms/l) reached peak on fourth postoperative day. 51 without kinetics depended duration arrest. whom aortic cross clamping short increased slightly first days; with longer periods higher remained so beyond fifth day.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
