摘要: SYNOPSIS Autonomic impairment in migraine is wall documented. In order to evaluate the autonomic control migraine, spectral analysis of heart rate fluctuations was performed on ten patients, drug-free and during inter-headache phase. They were compared nine healthy controls eight tension headache patients. A 24h Holter recording ECG for each subject. Every half hour, a short sub-trace digitized submitted R wave detection, followed by computation power spectrum. The disclosed significant differences between subjects patients with migraine. The displayed markedly enhanced low frequency (below 0.1 sec-1), day hours (p<0.01) especially at night (p<0.0006). respiratory band (between 0.2 0.4 sec-1) no change observed. Tension however, resembled that they did not display fluctuations. The enhancement frequencies only, range known be related vasomotor control, suggests are characterized clear sympathetic instability. This finding supports hypothesis neural origin consistent observation large variations regional cerebral flow.
