摘要: MnPS3 intercalated with BEDT-TTF (ET) has been studied by Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) technique in the temperature range of 10–300K. A single and symmetric ESR peak was observed. The is much narrower than expected from paramagnetic Mn2+ ion. signal intensity, line width effective g-value were observed to change dramatically at about 45 K, indicating a magnetic phase transition. That is, while intensity monotonically increased until critical Tc=45 both remain almost constant above Tc. However, very sharp decrease accompanied broadening below Tc, indicates strong spin frustration lower temperatures. Some small relatively smooth changes also occurred 30 100 K 170 K. magnetization however starts increase again line-width decreases decreasing temperature. This points onset second transition toward ferromagnetic phase.
