摘要: One of the goals in management severe open injuries foot is to obtain adequate soft tissue coverage. In extreme conditions pedal loss, patients who are not satisfactory candidates for local or free-tissue transfer, cross-leg flap remains an option surgical reconstruction. We present results 7 with multiple lower limb fractures associated ipsilateral degloving injuries, and/or secondary pressure ulcers hindfoot exposure calcaneus, which a distally based sural artery island fasciocutaneous flap, elevated from contralateral leg and crossed injured side, was used repair defect recipient heel. All flaps survived tissues healed uneventfully, thereby providing stable coverage calcaneal tuberosity. To best our knowledge, this first report technique has been defects complex bone vascular polytrauma patients. Level Clinical Evidence: 4
