LHC phenomenology of the type II seesaw mechanism: Observability of neutral scalars in the nondegenerate case

摘要: This is a sequel to our previous work on LHC phenomenology of the type II seesaw model in nondegenerate case. In this work, we further study pair and associated production neutral scalars H 0 =A . We restrict ourselves so-called negative scenario characterized by mass order MH > MH0=A0, which receives significant enhancement from cascade decays charged ; consider three important signal channels—b b , + b‘ ‘ ET —and perform detailed simulations. find that at 14 TeV with an integrated luminosity 3000 fb 1 5 reach 151, 150, 180 GeV, respectively, possible channels pure Drell-Yan A production, while cascade-decay-enhanced can push limit 164, 177, 200 GeV. The are thus accessible run II.
