摘要: Comparison of the fold lipases from Geotrichum candidum and human pancreas identified a high degree similarity which was not expected on basis their amino acid sequences. Although both enzymes utilize serine protease-like catalytic triad, they differ in topological position acid. We speculate that these proteins are evolutionarily related pancreatic lipase is an evolutionary intermediate pathway migration to new within fold.
