摘要: Abstract The determination of biaxial strength ceramics plays a large role in the design ceramic components. ball-on-three-balls (B3B)-test is one most useful methods for measuring ceramics. measured by B3B-test, with any specimen, dependent on size specimen and loading conditions (type position loading); therefore, value, set specimens, has to be adjusted effective volume and/or surface. standardized value obtained from this adjustment can then used process. Consequently, there need calculating volume/surface B3B-test specimens. In article, general fitting functions are provided specimens different multiaxial criteria, these all materials various test configurations. Verification numerical surface values experimental measurements show that B3B fail due flaws according normal stress criterion (NSC).
