摘要: There is abundant evidence that cancer pain undertreated despite the availability of therapies could benefit most patients.1 Undertreatment has many causes, among important which inadequate assessment.2,3 Assessment a dynamic process includes evaluation presenting problems, elucidation syndromes and pathophysiology, formulation comprehensive plan for continuing care.4–8 In this process, management must be incorporated within broader therapeutic agenda addresses need antineoplastic treatment, symptom palliation, functional rehabilitation. 8,9
