摘要: The effect of sulfur on the solidification and segregation in Inconel 718 alloy was studied. Sulfur is extremely depleted matrix, slightly dissolved Laves phase NbC, seriously segregated as sulfides. Except for needle-like Y-phase ((Nb, Ti)(2)SC), a globular sulfide newly found to form following precipitation phase. sulfides speculated be avoided when content low enough most has diverse effects behavior alloys; mechanism discussed text.
