摘要: Most cancer patients develop pain before they die. Even though it has been proved that this kind of is not diagnosed and treated in all the existing cases, use opioid analgesics increased last 20 years. Sometimes morphine does reach satisfactory levels, however, especially palliative care programs, caused by adequately treated. any case, these countries there still exists an obvious lack availability agonistic drugs. change pattern opioids, earlier increasing doses, determined appearance neurotoxicity as important side effect treatments cancer. The Opioid Induced Neurotoxicity Syndrome (OIN) includes cognitive alterations, confusion delirium, hallucinations, myoclonus, convulsions hyperalgesy. Knowledge clinical characteristics toxicity close attention to can facilitate recognition NIO its suitable treatment.
