摘要: Abstract The extrusion model suggests that the India-Eurasia collision triggered lateral escape of Tibetan Plateau via strike-slip faults from south to north. However, questions remain as how resulted in different geological settings northern Tibet. area between Haiyuan fault and eastern Kunlun is ideal for investigating whether major contributed plateau. This study uses a deep seismic profile spanning 257 km transect, along with regional geologic, gravity, magnetic data. Examining our results integrated those previous studies, we propose block Elashan Riyueshan extruded southward under background large-scale eastward Plateau. According tectonic events, north-dipping intracrustal reflectors appear beneath Western Qinling orogen are remnants Indosinian Mianlue suture zone. subduction Ocean led underthrusting South China orogen, similar process occurred Range central Alps. As result, Moho was duplicated orogen. Southward offset Diebu-Bailongjiang fault, which transferred part Ruo'ergai basin pulled well. Based on interpretations structures other evident features, develop kinematic specifically explain faults, located accommodates southwesterly compression.
