摘要:    are commonplace in a modern society. Hydrocarbon contamination has widespread effect on animals and plants depending the urban ecosystems their resources. Despite history of petroleum use, research band eld been relatively narrow concentrated heavy metal contamination. e aimof thesis is to create simpli edmethod predict distribution intensity hydrocarbon contaminations that could be utilised by people working related industry or officials. prediction soil using geographic information systems studied available public sector remediation reports. A total 19 reports inspected within them transferred into computer so ware. major factor affecting values distance from point source. Results show there possibility ed model based few factors, such as source test results. accuracy sufficient for day-to-day operations study suggests companies officials with contaminated should implement planning environments. recommends greater emphasis quality control providemeaningful data future studies.
