摘要: Abstract In this study, we report that nitrogen doped TiO2 could be achieved via thermal treatment of Degussa P25 in NO atmosphere directly (P25–NO). The samples were characterized with XRD, XPS, and FT-IR. characterization results suggested species interstitially P25–NO during the process. comparison P25, exhibited significantly enhanced photocatalytic activities under visible light irradiation (λ > 420 nm) for gaseous removal. On basis electronic band structure theory, proposed a possible mechanism driven oxidation process over interstitial N doping samples. This work not only deepen understanding photoactivity originated from TiO2, but also provide facile route to prepare environmental energy applications.
