摘要: The reproductive cycle of four western forms Spilogale is de¬scribed and compared with that eastern the genus. Most adult males possess spermatozoa in their testes epididymides by June. Some juvenile attain sexual maturity September. Copulation occurs September, at which time both females are bred. zygote undergoes cleavage to form a blastula normal manner. Further development blastocyst greatly retarded embryos float freely uterine lumen for approximately 180 200 days. Nidation April. litters born May after gestation period 210 230 physiological, cytological, morphological data presented suggest two (eastern western) populations distinct species.
