Asking good clinical research questions and choosing the right study design

摘要: Clinicians and researchers seek answers to clinical research questions, primarily by accessing the results of studies. This paper moves focus enquiry from getting developing good questions. Using worked examples, steps involved in refining questions drawn various sources create 'answerable' using 'PICO' principle are described. Issues consider prioritising also identified. Theoretical practical considerations choosing right study design for a question then discussed examples. These include:
