摘要: Introduction To produce health professionals who are oriented towards addressing community priority needs, the training in medical schools has been transformed to include a component of community-based training. During this period, students spend part their communities they likely serve upon graduation. They engage and empower local people address needs during placements, at same time learn from people. component, constantly supervised by faculty university ensure that intended objectives achieved. The purpose present study was explore student experiences support supervision education, research service (COBERS placements) identify ways which learning can be improved through supervision. Methods This cross-sectional involving College Health Sciences, Makerere University, Uganda, had Data were collected using both questionnaires focus group discussions. Quantitative data analyzed statistical software thematic approaches used for analysis qualitative data. Results Most reported satisfaction with COBERS supervision; however, junior less satisfied than more senior experience Although many supervisors assisted before departure sites, significant number made little follow-up while community. Incorporating use information technology avenues such as emails skype sessions suggested potential way enhancing amidst resource constraints without physically visiting sites. Conclusions supervision, there still some challenges, mostly seen students. Using could solution these challenges.
