摘要: OBJECTIVE To evaluate the in vitro cytocompatibility of cellulose/soy protein isolate composite membranes (CSM) with Schwann cells and vivo toxicity to animals. METHODS A series were prepared by blending, solution casting coagulation process. The CSM evaluated MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay direct culture on surfaces CSM, respectively. animals also acute testing, skin sensitization pyrogen testing intracutaneous stimulation respectively, according ISO 10993 standard. RESULTS showed that cell viability cultured extracts from was higher than neat cellulose membrane without containing SPI component. indicated could attach grow well surface incorporation into contributed improvement adhesion proliferation. evaluations biological safety suggested no toxicity, experimental CONCLUSION had animals, suggesting potential for applications as nerve conduit repair defect.
