摘要: Galls are atypical plant growths that provide nourishment, shelter, and protection to the inducer or its progeny. Fruit flowers poorly represented as host organs for galling insects. Our main question was: Do morphological traits, anatomical features physiological characteristics differ between galled healthy fruits of Parkinsonia praecox ? Galled P. were characterized in terms traits (length, diameter, thickness, water biomass content); (trichomes, stomatal pavement cells), (stomatal conductance, gs). We found induced by Asphondylia sp. (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae). Thickness, content values greater compared fruits. Length, biomass, cells density higher. The trichomes on was higher, while cell size not statistically different Furthermore, gs rates almost 3 times higher than Incidence galls modified original morphology anatomy stimulate mechanisms increase continuum from gall.
