摘要: Biodiversity is declining, with direct and indirect effects on ecosystem functions services that are poorly quantified. Here, we develop the first global assessment of trends in pollinators, focusing pollinating birds mammals. A Red List Index for these species shows that, overall, bird mammal deteriorating status, more moving toward extinction than away from it. On average, 2.5 per year have moved one category recent decades, representing a substantial increase risk across this set species. This may be impacting delivery benefits provide to people. We recommend index expanded include taxonomic groups contribute significantly pollination, such as bees, wasps, butterflies, thereby giving complete picture state worldwide.
