摘要: Water-soluble chitin was successfully crosslinked to varying extents with glutaraldehyde in homogeneous aqueous solutions improve the properties as an adsorbent for metal cations, and effects of crosslinking were discussed. Complete insolubilization achieved fivefold excess aldehyde, but, terms adsorptivity Cu2+, at aldehyde/amino group ratio 1.0 found exhibit remarkable capacity much superior others. The desorption Cu2+ from adsorption complex also attained effectively pH 2.0. These results indicated that loose quite simple efficient produce high adsorbents practical use. Thermal behavior examined by TMA TGA; a softening phenomenon observed 145°C.
