摘要: We performed proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy ( 1 H-MRS) in patients with motor neuron disease (MND) to determine the absolute vivo concentrations brain of metabolites N -acetyl aspartate (NAA), choline (Cho), and creatine (Cr/PCr). examined spectra acquired from a 20 × 20-mm 3 voxel placed cortex cerebellum seven clinically probable or definite amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) according El Escorial criteria, three suspected ALS (progressive muscular atrophy), eight normal control subjects. estimated using water signal as an internal standard. The Cho Cr/PCr both regions, well concentration NAA cerebellum, were unaltered MND compared controls. Only upper lower signs had significantly decreased (9.13 ± 0.28 mM, mean SEM) primary when healthy controls (10.03 0.22 mM). In conclusion, slightly may represent loss neurons this region.
