摘要: Abstract The spectral properties and Z,E-photoisomerizations of three 4-styrylstilbenes, a 4,4′-bis(β-methylstyryl)benzene 4,4′-distyrylstilbene were investigated in solution the solid state. Some notable features absorption fluorescence spectra due to structures phases (solution or solid) observed, especially Stokes shifts. Interesting photochemical behaviors state also found. While (E,Z)-4-styrylstilbenes undergo one-way photoisomerization their E,E-isomers with almost equal rates solution, quantum yields decrease increasing substituent size at terminal aromatic rings. On other hand, undergoes mutual but its E,Z-isomer isomerizes manner E,E-isomer Additionally, (Z,E,Z)-4,4′-styrylstilbene was found E,E,E-isomer via the...
