摘要: Abstract A Pb‐Zn‐Cu‐(As‐W)‐bearing sulphide mineralization, hosted by the 1800 Ma Smaland volcanics, has been investigated at Alatorp, 40 km ENE of Vaxjo in southeastern Sweden. The Alatorp deposit was subject to small‐scale mining for silver 18th century, but due very low contents it never economically viable. Galena, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite occur a dense network quartz‐carbonate veinlets, intensely hydrothermally altered volcanic rocks, which are strongly depleted sodium, calcium, strontium, enriched lead, zinc, copper, tin, tungsten when compared unmineralized unaltered equivalents. lead isotopic ratios galena suggest that hydrothermal process leached metals from rocks immediately after their deposition. Pb‐Zn‐Cu mineralization is thus typical example synvolcanic ore‐forming system, may be much larger porphyry‐type systems Cretaceous Tertiary subaerial...
