摘要: ▪ Abstract Niche conservatism is the tendency of species to retain ancestral ecological characteristics. In recent literature, a debate has emerged as whether niches are conserved. We suggest that simply testing conserved not by itself particularly helpful or interesting and more useful focus on patterns niche may (or not) create. specifically how in climatic tolerances limit geographic range expansion this one type be important (a) allopatric speciation, (b) historical biogeography, (c) richness, (d) community structure, (e) spread invasive, human-introduced species, (f) responses global climate change, (g) human history, from 13,000 years ago present. describe these effects can examined with new tools for modeling.
