摘要: Cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) is an enzyme involved in the metabolic activation of certain carcinogens, and inducible by toxic substrates. To date, few studies have investigated vivo CYP1A2 induction humans its relationship to polycylic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) like benzo(a)pyrene (BaP). Non-smoking healthy male coke-oven workers (n = 30) were recruited as 'exposure' group, non-smoking office same city 10) selected 'control' test whether high inhalation exposure PAHs can induce activity human livers. Significantly higher found among group compared control. Inhalation BaP concentration was more than 30 times control (p < 0.001). However, did not exhale significant levels (13)CO2/(12)CO2 breath samples 0.81), no between inhaled ratio 0.91). A association exhalation dietary intake level. Hepatic activity/induction level effected but altered ingestion BaP.
