摘要: Germ cell tumors are derived from the malignant transformation of preanaphase I germ cells. These most commonly originate in gonads (testis or ovary) but similar neoplasms occasionally midline structures (retroperitoneum, mediastinum, pineal gland). Rarely, a tumor may other sites. Many retroperitoneal probably occult testis primary sites whereas mediastinal likely distinct entities that arise mediastinum.
