摘要: This paper presents a simple particle plus field model for the dynamics of disclination lines in nematic liquid crystal. The has no logarithmic divergences with system size and, therefore, need to introduce cutoff. resulting equation motion relates velocity local phase gradient at core disclination. is used obtain solution, scaling behavior small time annihilation pair opposite strength disclinations. In addition, this develops criterion flow speed required free from boundary constraints container.
