摘要: Lead is a highly toxic heavy metal, found in water and air, which should be treated. removal from wastewater an important problem battery industries. The separation process by means of electrodialysis (ED) shows several advantages such as selective desalination, high recovery, only partial addition chemicals the possibility stop-and-go operation. performance ED plant determined set fixed variable parameters stack construction, feed product concentrations, membrane permselectivity, flow velocities, current density, recovery rates, etc. For efficient operation ED, has to optimized terms overall costs considering component design properties well all operating parameters. Effects rate, temperature voltage at different concentrations using two types commercial membranes on lead were studied. Experiments carried out three levels concentration: 100, 500 1000 ppm; temperature: 25, 40 60°C; voltage: 10, 20 30 V; rate: 0.07, 0.7 1.2 mL/s laboratory cell. results show that increasing improved cell performance; however, percentage decreased with rate. At more than ppm, dependence concentration diminished. Using higher ion-exchange capacity resulted better performance.
