An independent nurse researcher conducted telephone interviews about treatment experience, care. FACT-BMT data were analyzed using descriptive statistics multivariate analysis variance, qualitative care Giorgis methodologic reduction. Bivariate associations made between overall degree QOL as measured FACT-BMT. Main research variables Clinical outcome, QOL, satisfaction, quality. Findings Mean scores lower one month post-treatment than at baseline highest post-treatment. progressive disease reported post-treatment, noted more complaints, ranked their subjects no evidence disease. offered program improvement recommendations areas communication, information, nursing ancillary needs assistance, agencies, survivor support. Conclusions In this study, undergoing decreased but increased levels higher those found pretreatment months. A good outcome following was greater Implications for Knowledge experience its effect can be used refine content timing educational supportive interventions ASCT.
